Litgrid, Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator, maintains stable operation of the national power system, controls electricity flows and enables competition in an open domestic electricity market. Litgrid is responsible for integrating national power system into the European power infrastructure and electricity market. The company has built strategic electricity cross-border links, namely, NordBalt (Lithuania-Sweden) and LitPol Link (Lithuania-Poland). About „Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne SA“ (PSE)

PSE a state-owned company of major importance to the Polish economy. PSE’s task as a transmission system operator (TSO) is to transmit electricity through the transmission grid to all regions of the country. In addition, PSE is responsible for a number of obligations related to ensuring the security of the operation of the Polish electricity system, the development of the transmission network, and the implementation of cross-border interconnections with the systems of neighbouring countries. The company owns 15 316 kilometres of lines and 109 transformer substations. Litgrid and PSE are members of ENTSO-E, the European Association of Transmission System Operators.
